Macintosh OS (for any editions). But few of user prefer to use another email
client, at present on market arena there are various email clients are available

Mac Outlook 2011 as a default Mail Client. Just you have to follow few steps

default Mail Client Steps —
Step 1-
Release the “Apple Mail” application in any edition of Mac
OS. Now Open the Mail app for setting up, your preferable email client as a
default client.
Step 2-
Select now Mail » “Preferences”…
from the menu bar, then click on “General tab”, and
change the first option.
The topmost element “Default Email Reader”: pick the mail
client which you want to set as your default email handler. Accordingly, you
