How to Transfer Windows Outlook to Mac Outlook 2011

Transfer Windows Outlook Identity by changing the Outlook data file in Outlook for Windows and then import the .pst file into Outlook 2011 OLM files. By applying below steps-

In the Outlook (any edition as 2007, 2010 or 2013) application for Windows OS

• Select the File→Options→Advanced→Export & then click the Export button.
• After this setting An Import/Export wizard will be appearing on your screen.

Note: If you are unable to  see the wizard, just you have to minimize the visible window, might be the Wizard window will appear at the back of the current window screen.

• Now choose Export to a File and then click to the Next button for further process.
• Choose Outlook PST File for Windows, then step up for the next step by clicking on the Next button.
• Choose a folder which you want to Export from the dialog which will appears (with select folder included with Sub-folders check box chosen).
• Continuing the process by clicking on the Next button.
• Now, provide the name to your files with .pst file extension, and select the location by clicking on the Browse button.
• After the above step Windows Outlook will ask you for a password, and you have to leave the “Password” fields blank, by selecting the OK button

Note: Proviso, if you click on the Cancel button, Outlook for Windows will cancel the process for adding a password and cancels the process for making the .pst file as well.

• After all this Outlook for Windows arrange the data file, you have to copy or move the data to your Mac OS by applying any of your desiring method as DVD, USB drive or many other possible transfer methods you can choose.

Import Outlook PST files for Windows

Easily import & saved .pst outlook file in Outlook 2011 for Mac OS, follow few steps

• Release now Outlook 2011 for Mac OS-
• Select File→Import the files from the menu bar
• Choose now Outlook .pst Data File and clicks on the right-arrow button at the lower-right corner of the dialog box.
• Choose Windows Outlook .pst data file and then click the right arrow
• Find the path of Outlook .pst  data file and click the Import button.
• Now Windows Outlook will import your Identity

Note: If nothing happening after the process and the process bar is near to the end, keep waiting, at the final end it will show you Done massage and then click Done.

• Your data Identity has been successfully imported.
• Now in Mac Outlook 2011, Select Tools→Accounts from the menu bar of Outlook 2011.
• Accordingly, you can enter your account details to restore your accounts.
